Thats right... NewHope is no more, those with enough soul from NH came back to the family and the clan The Soul is an active presence again on darkfall (not that tant rasta thao and thaero didnt keep the flame burning brilliantly!) with some simple aims:

1) Have fun

2) Stay out of politics

The clan has under gone some changes, so here is what is happening now:

Change in Clan Structure effective Monday the 6th of July 2009: 

There are key roles that are not currently being filled we've listened to what members have had to say about how the clan functions and we've come up with a new way to structure and lead the Clan.  This new structure will ensure that we are all active out hunting and gathering the resources we all need but also ensure that the Clan is always stocked with everything we need.  The below Job's are now up and running.

As the guild grows in Darkfall you will also see our site here growing! Comming soon are many more updates to add to the wealth of infomation already present.

Well darkfall is out! (though no one has played yet i think) But NDA is lifted and a few of us have been playing darkfall in beta. So what now?

Well you will see new site content added from info we gathered

You can go here to register your darkfall game account and then pre order (note: the servers are over loaded and the second wave of pre orders may already be sold out so nothing may happen!)
 

Many of us have registered and some pre orderd so all we do now is wait and within the next few weeks all of us that want to should be playing darkfall! Happy times!

First wave of Invites - Thursday January 22 2009

This is an update about what is happening today:

We sent out the first wave of invites to clans and individual testers. We' will send more waves of invites within a few hours. Players will be able to download the Darkfall installer.

We are applying the latest patch, and players will be able to start patching soon, and entering the game.

We are spacing out the invites in order to facilitate the download of the client. We will continue sending out more invites every day until we reach our capacity.

Since this first phase has to do with stress testing the servers, and doing final testing on some features, we are not lifting the NDA until this testing is concluded.

We apologize for the problems with the forums and the website today, we have been experiencing denial of service attacks, and we are working to resolve them.

Here it is, word from the horse's mouth (if that horse were a greek game developer)

To summerise:

1. Starting on January 22nd there will be a Darkfall trial with the distribution of the release candidate client allowing thousands of players to sample the game for free, help us stress test our servers and test the final features of the game.
   
2. The date of the Darkfall European commercial release has been pushed back to February 25th, 2009. A pre-order will be made available mid-February. The pre-orders will get priority for early access to the game. The pre-orders will also get priority for the game launch if we have to go to a staged release.

So what do we do? We sit back and relax and wait till next week. We hope we are selected early on for what willprety much be a public beta in stages from jan 22nd to mid feb and if your anything like me you pre order the game ASAP!
